Stream Quality Monitoring

Volunteers use a variety of equipment to measure stream water turbity, ph, and other characteristics.
WAAC and the Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement (EASI) have partnered in collecting physical and chemical stream data in Adams County for more than 17 years. Data has been collected at 32 sites. Currently, there are 6 monitoring stations that are active (see list of active stations below).
