4th Annual Fishing and Outdoor Expo

Dates: Saturday March 1, 2007 from 9am - 5pm
          Sunday March 2, 2007 from 9am - 3pm

Located at Buchanan Valley Fire Dept., Buchanan Valley Rd. (Rt. 234) between Arendtsville & Rt. 30. Approximately 2 miles off Rt. 30.

 

Take a beautiful ride through scenic farmland & apple orchards, past meandering streams & woodlands to visit the Adams County Fishing & Outdoor Expo!

  • Vendors offering a variety of quality fishing, hunting and outdoor gear will be on hand.
  • Demonstrations and seminars by industry professionals will be offered throughout the weekend. Click here for the 2008 seminar schedule.(coming soon)
  • Door prizes will be awarded and a raffle will be drawn at the close of the show on Sunday.
  • A variety of tasty meals will be available all weekend. Refreshment proceeds benefit the fire department.
Admission prices for visitors are: $3 for adults.
Children under 12 admitted free.

WAAC, ACTU, and Buchanan Valley Fire Company benefits from the Expo through the hall rental and all proceeds from food sales. The Expo is a great way to support three local organizations that take pride in the work that they do to improve and protect the communities we live in. Please come out to the Expo during the first weekend in March and offer us your support! Proceeds from the Expo enable WAAC and ACTU to help preserve the water quality of Adams County. Examples of the work we do are: stream restoration projects, water monitoring, stream cleanups, and possibly most important of all, public education about our waterways and watersheds.
